The Town of Ossining needs YOU to get involved in our community! Our local government relies on volunteers to participate in our boards and committees. The Town of Ossining is seeking volunteers to serve on the following boards and committees:
The Recreation Advisory Board meets the second Monday of the month at 07:00 p.m. The Zoning Board of Appeals meets the first and/or third Monday of the month at 07:30 p.m. if an application has been filed for review. The Board of Assessment Review meets annually the third Thursday in June. The Planning Board meets the first and third Wednesdays of the month at 07:30 p.m. Currently, all board and committee meetings are being held via Zoom, in accordance with Executive Orders issued by Governor Cuomo.
Members of the Zoning Board of Appeals and Planning Board should be residents of the Unincorporated Town of Ossining. Members of the Recreation Advisory Board can be residents of the Village of Briarcliff Manor or Unincorporated Town of Ossining. Members of the Board of Assessment Review can be residents of the Village of Ossining, Village of Briarcliff Manor, or Unincorporated Town of Ossining.
