The Ossining Recreation & Parks Department is actively hiring a part-time Lifeguard-Captain / Head Swim Coach.
This is an hourly position paying $25-$30/hr. Practices would be afternoons 03:30 p.m. – 07:00 p.m., Monday thru Friday.
Attending swim meets on the weekends is required.
Interested candidates must be able to commit to 20 hours weekly.
Preference will be given to an individual with coaching experience.
Prospective candidates must showcase the ability to work well with athletes, parents, and other coaches, plus aquatic staff.
Incumbents must possess a current Water Safety Instructor’s Certificate, a current lifeguard training certificate from the American Red Cross, American Heart Association, YMCA/YWCA, or Boy Scouts of America, and current certification in first aid and CPR as a professional rescuer.
