Ready For The Snowstorm

Looking ahead into the long weekend with the bad weather predicted, our plows are assembled, our spreaders are topped off with salt, and we are ready to hit the roads if the snow predictions materialize. Wish us luck!

While conditions are still good, now would be a great time to download the Con Edison app to your Android or iPhone—grab your account number and you will not have to re-enter it in the event that you need to report an outage later on. You can text “REG” to “OUTAGE” (688243) to register for text alerts too. Please be mindful of all parking regulations where you live—in
the Unincorporated town, there is no overnight on-street parking allowed through March 31st.

Please heed weather reports and anticipate staying put to avoid any potentially hazardous conditions. We will send out an update if we need to close our offices or activate our Emergency Operations Center. Please check the Town of Ossining homepage here or Facebook for updated information during the storm. Stay warm and safe out there!

Also, if you see our Highway guys out salting or plowing this weekend, you may want to ask for an autograph. Motor Equipment Operator John Orlando and Road Maintainer Juan Toribio were featured on Lohud today – check out our
snowstorm superstars here.
