Ossining’s annual July 4th fireworks celebration will not be held on Independence day this year, according to Parks and Recreation director Henry Atterbury.
Instead, the celebration will be held on Friday, July 1.
“We wanted to kick off the holiday weekend early and start it with our July 4th celebration,” said Mr. Atterbury.
The celebration starts at 07:30 p.m. at Ossining’s riverfront. The rock band “Channel One” will perform their program called “Celebrating America.” Fireworks should begin around 09:20 p.m.
