Ossining police tweeted that a man was shot on Van Cortlandt Avenue in Ossining early Sunday.
The man was shot around 4:45 a.m. and taken to a hospital. The road was closed between North Highland Avenue and Cortlandt Place on Sunday morning while police investigated.
Police did not say what condition the victim is in. No other details on the circumstances surrounding the shooting were immediately available.
